Green Fulfilment has won Best Use of Digital Technology at the 28th Glasgow Business Awards. The award recognises our Go Green platform and the wider set of tools our in-house development team has built to run eCommerce fulfilment for more than 100 brands across the UK and Europe.
The award, sponsored by Space Solutions, was presented on Thursday 1 October 2026 at a black-tie ceremony hosted by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. Green Fulfilment was one of six finalists in the category.
On the same night, our co-founder and Operations Director, Cain Fleming, was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP.
What the Best Use of Digital Technology award recognises
The category is open to businesses that have built digital technology into the way they operate, across their operations, products or the service around them. Judges look for evidence that the technology has improved efficiency, supported growth and given customers a better experience, rather than being adopted for its own sake.
The technology behind the win
We launched the Go Green platform in 2022. It gives the brands we work with one place to see their stock, orders, deliveries and returns, wherever they sell online, from their own website to Amazon and TikTok Shop. Orders flow straight from a brand’s online shop to the warehouse floor, so nothing is typed in twice and parcels go out faster and more accurately.
Our developers work alongside our warehouse teams, so the platform keeps improving in the ways clients ask for. This year that has included:
- Carbon reporting: brands can see the carbon footprint of their deliveries, so they can report on it and act on it
- Personalised products: embroidered names, engraved gifts and other personalised orders are produced just in time
- Clearer returns: a new returns portal lets brands follow every return and see how quickly it was processed
- Early warnings: a delayed order or stock issue is flagged to our team before the customer notices
- Faster answers: routine “where is my order?” questions are answered more quickly
- Less paperwork: HR, training and day-to-day procedures now run through our own systems, so staff can focus on customers’ orders
Our systems also connect with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce, and the same platform now handles more than a million orders a year.

This award belongs to the developers and the warehouse teams who build and test it together every day, and winning it in our home city makes it even better.”

Cain Fleming named an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist
Cain was one of six finalists for Entrepreneur of the Year. The category recognises business leaders who have shown resilience, spotted opportunities for growth, embraced innovation and led and motivated their teams.
As co-founder and Operations Director, Cain has played a key role in Green Fulfilment’s growth since the business was founded in 2016. His work covers supply chain management, eCommerce logistics and the introduction of new technology, and he has led a number of the software implementations behind the Go Green platform.
In 2024, he won Young Business Person of the Year at the same awards, with the judges recognising his work in sustainable eCommerce logistics.
A third year of recognition in Glasgow
This is the third year in a row that Green Fulfilment and its founders have been recognised at the Glasgow Business Awards:
- 2024: Cain Fleming won Young Business Person of the Year
- 2025: Green Fulfilment won the Green Champion Award, sponsored by ScottishPower, for our approach to sustainable fulfilment
- 2026: Green Fulfilment won Best Use of Digital Technology, and Cain was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year
The 2025 award recognised our sustainability work. This year’s win recognises the technology behind our fulfilment operations, built by the same team.
Business of the Year at the Scottish Muslim Awards
The win capped a strong week for the company. On Sunday 27 September 2026, Green Fulfilment was named Business of the Year at the Scottish Muslim Awards, with co-founder and Managing Director Rukhsar Ahmed accepting the award.
Founded in Glasgow in 2016 by Rukhsar Ahmed and Cain Fleming, Green Fulfilment became a certified B Corp in 2024 and opened its European fulfilment hub in Venlo, Netherlands, in 2025. You can see all of our recognition on our awards and certifications page.
