We’re pleased to share that Green Fulfilment has been shortlisted for two awards at the Glasgow Business Awards 2026.
Green Fulfilment Ltd is a finalist for Best Use of Digital Technology, sponsored by Space Solutions, while our co-founder and Operations Director, Cain Fleming, has been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP.
The shortlist was announced by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce on 11 August, with the winners set to be revealed at the awards ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on 1 October 2026.
It’s good to see both the business and Cain recognised this year, particularly across two areas that have played such an important part in Green Fulfilment’s growth.
Green Fulfilment shortlisted for Best Use of Digital Technology
The Glasgow Business Award for Best Use of Digital Technology is open to companies that have built digital technology into the way they run their business, across operations, products or the service around them. The category looks for evidence that technology has driven efficiency, growth and a better experience for customers, rather than simply being adopted for its own sake.
Technology sits at the heart of how we manage eCommerce fulfilment at Green Fulfilment.
Our dedicated in-house tech team, including full-time developers, builds and maintains our own fulfilment software. That gives us greater control over how our systems develop and means we can adapt them as the needs of our customers change.
Through our Go Green platform, customers can access live stock information across integrated sales channels, including visibility over what is in stock, what is in transit and how products are moving. Our systems also integrate with major eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce to help reduce manual processes and keep order and inventory information connected.
Technology also supports our wider sustainability goals. We have developed carbon calculation software to help customers better understand and reduce the environmental impact of their shipments, alongside paperless workflows and other technology-led improvements across our fulfilment operations.
Being shortlisted for Best Use of Digital Technology is a welcome recognition of the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep improving those systems.
Cain Fleming shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year
Cain has also been named as one of six finalists for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The category recognises business leaders who have shown resilience, identified opportunities for growth, embraced innovation and successfully led and motivated their teams.
As co-founder and Operations Director, Cain has played a key role in Green Fulfilment’s growth since the business was founded in 2016.
His work covers both the day-to-day operation of the business and its longer-term development, including supply chain management, eCommerce logistics and the implementation of new technology. He has led a number of software implementations and technology transitions as Green Fulfilment has grown.
This isn’t Cain’s first success at the Glasgow Business Awards either. In 2024, he won Young Business Person of the Year, with the judges recognising his work in sustainable eCommerce logistics.
Moving from Young Business Person of the Year to an Entrepreneur of the Year shortlist two years later is a good marker of how both Cain’s role and Green Fulfilment have continued to develop.
Continuing our Glasgow Business Awards success
The Glasgow Business Awards have given us a few reasons to celebrate over the last couple of years.
After Cain’s win in 2024, Green Fulfilment went on to win the Green Champion Award at the 2025 Glasgow Business Awards, sponsored by ScottishPower.
That award recognised our approach to sustainable fulfilment, including work to reduce waste and energy use and build sustainability into our day-to-day operations.
This year’s shortlist highlights another part of the business, the technology behind our fulfilment operations, alongside the leadership that has helped Green Fulfilment continue to grow.
To receive two shortlist places in 2026, following our previous success at the awards, is something the whole team can be pleased about.

The Glasgow Business Awards 2026 take place on Thursday 1 October at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.
Now in their 28th year, the awards celebrate businesses and individuals from across Glasgow, with this year’s categories covering areas including digital technology, innovation, sustainability, workplace culture and business performance.
